In 2011 I challenged myself to try a new craft project every week. That experience was documented in the original blog, still present on this web site in its entirety.
Since 2020 I have been developing my own unique style of basketry with the wild and garden plants that grow near me in central North Carolina.
In 2025 I began creating art to exhibit in a local gallery.
I publish a newsletter via Substack called Amber’s Plant Notebook. A paid subscription is available to help support my basketry. Read the newsletter.
